[Sahih]. Abu Dawud transmitted it in the Book of Sales, Chapter on the Price of a Cat, no. 3480, and Ibn Majah, no. 3250, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq through this route, and it is found in his Musannaf, no. 8749, though its chain is daif. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Muslim, no. 1569 (Musaqah: 9), and elsewhere.* Umar bin Zayd Sanani is daif.
