The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The earnings of the cupper are foul, the wages of the prostitute are foul, and the price of a dog is foul."
حدثنا محمد بن رافع حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن إبراهيم بن عبد الله بن قارظ عن السائب بن يزيد
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال كسب الحجام خبيث ومهر البغي خبيث وثمن الكلب خبيث
Muslim also recorded it in "Musaqat," chapter "The Prohibition of the Price of a Dog, and the Fee of a Soothsayer... etc.," hadith no. 1568, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq, with the same wording.There are also narrations on this subject from Umar [Ibn Adi in Kamil, 7/716], Ali and Ibn Masud [I could not locate it], Abu Masud [coming up, no. 1276], Jabir [Muslim, hadith no. 1569], Abu Hurairah [Ibn Hibban, hadith no. 1118, and Bayhaqi, 6/6], Ibn Abbas [Abu Dawud, hadith no. 3482], Ibn Umar [Tabarani in Awsat, 6/262, hadith no. 5557], and Abdullah bin Jafar [Hakim, 3/568].The hadith of Abdullah bin Amr is found in Hakim, 2/33.
