The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the fee paid to a fortune-teller. This hadith is hasan sahih.
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا الليث عن ابن شهاب ح و حدثنا سعيد بن عبد الرحمن المخزومي وغير واحد قالوا حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري عن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن ثمن الكلب ومهر البغي وحلوان الكاهن هذا حديث حسن صحيح
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Musaqah, in the chapter on the prohibition of the price of a dog and the payment of a soothsayer, etc., hadith no. 1567, from Qutayba, and Bukhari, hadith no. 5346, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, with the same wording.
