Abu Hurayrah recited Surah al-Inshiqaq while leading them in prayer and prostrated during it. When he finished, he told them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had prostrated during this surah.
أخبرنا قتيبة عن مالك عن عبد الله بن يزيد
أن أبا هريرة قرأ بهم إذا السماء انشقت فسجد فيها فلما انصرف أخبرهم أن رسول الله ﷺ سجد فيها
Muslim narrated it, hadith no. 578 (see the previous hadith), from the hadith of Malik through this chain, and it is in Muwatta (Yahya), 1/205, and Kubra, hadith no. 1033. Bukhari also narrated it, hadith no. 1074, through another route from Abu Salama through this chain.
