The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the noon prayer with Abu Bakr behind him. Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the takbir, Abu Bakr would repeat the takbir aloud so we could hear him.
أخبرنا عبيد الله بن فضالة بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا يحيى يعني ابن يحيى قال حدثنا حميد بن عبد الرحمن بن حميد الرواسي عن أبيه عن أبي الزبير
صلى بنا رسول الله ﷺ الظهر وأبو بكر خلفه فإذا كبر رسول الله ﷺ كبر أبو بكر يسمعنا
Muslim narrated it, in the book of Prayer, chapter on the follower being led by the imam, hadith no. 85/413, from Yahya bin Yahya Tamimi Hanzali Nisaburi, with the same wording, and it is also in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 873.
