The Prophet ﷺ said, "People from my nation will drink wine, calling it by another name."
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الأعلى عن خالد وهو ابن الحارث عن شعبة قال سمعت أبا بكر بن حفص يقول سمعت
عن النبي ﷺ قال يشرب ناس من أمتي الخمر يسمونها بغير اسمها
Its isnad is sahih. Ahmad: 4/237 reported it from the hadith of Shubah through this same chain. It is also found in Kubra, hadith 5168.
