I asked, "With what did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ open his night prayer?"She said, "You have asked me about something no one has asked me before. He would say takbir ten times, glorify Allah ten times, seek forgiveness ten times, and say, 'O Allah, forgive me, guide me, provide for me, and grant me well-being,' and he would seek refuge from the distress of standing on the Day of Resurrection."
أخبرني إبراهيم بن يعقوب قال حدثنا زيد بن الحباب أن معاوية بن صالح حدثه وحدثني أزهر بن سعيد يقال له الحرازي شامي عزيز الحديث عن عاصم بن حميد قال
بما كان رسول الله ﷺ يفتتح قيام الليل قالت سألتني عن شيء ما سألني عنه أحد كان يكبر عشرا ويسبح عشرا ويستغفر عشرا ويقول اللهم اغفر لي واهدني وارزقني وعافني ويتعوذ من ضيق المقام يوم القيامة
