The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge with these words. He would say, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, decrepitude, cowardice, miserliness, the wretchedness of old age, the trial of the Dajjal, and the punishment of the grave."
أخبرنا موسى بن عبد الرحمن قال حدثنا حسين عن زائدة عن حميد
كان رسول الله ﷺ يتعوذ بهؤلاء الكلمات كان يقول اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الكسل والهرم والجبن والبخل وسوء الكبر وفتنة الدجال وعذاب القبر
