The Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, miserliness, the trial of the Dajjal, and the punishment of the grave."
أخبرنا حميد بن مسعدة قال حدثنا بشر عن حميد قال
كان النبي ﷺ يدعو اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الكسل والهرم والجبن والبخل وفتنة الدجال وعذاب القبر
[Sahih] Reported by Tirmidhi, Supplications, chapter [the supplication "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief," etc.], no. 3485, from the hadith of Humayd Tawil, and it is also found in al-Kubra, no. 7887. This hadith has many corroborating narrations. Bishr is Ibn Mufaddal.
