The Prophet ﷺ used to say, "Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness, laziness, decrepit old age, miserliness, and cowardice. And I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave and from the trials of life and death."
Bukhari included it in the Book of Jihad, chapter on seeking refuge from cowardice, hadith no. 2823, and Muslim included it in the Book of Remembrance and Supplication, chapter on seeking refuge from helplessness and laziness, hadith no. 50/2706, from the hadith of Mutamir bin Sulayman Taymi, transmitted through him.
