The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had supplications he never abandoned, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from incapacity and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debt and being overpowered by men."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, "This is the correct version, and the narration of Ibn Fudayl is mistaken."
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال أنبأنا جرير عن محمد بن إسحق عن عمرو بن أبي عمرو
كان لرسول الله ﷺ دعوات لا يدعهن اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن والعجز والكسل والبخل والجبن والدين وغلبة الرجال قال أبو عبد الرحمن هذا الصواب وحديث ابن فضيل خطأ
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Supplications, chapter on seeking refuge from cowardice and laziness, hadith no. 6369, from the hadith of Amr bin Abu Amr, through the same chain, and it is also in Kubra, hadith no. 7886.
