The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most hated of men to Allah is the most quarrelsome disputant."
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا ابن جريج ح وأنبأنا محمد بن منصور قال حدثنا سفيان قال حدثني ابن جريج عن ابن أبي مليكة
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن أبغض الرجال إلى الله الألد الخصم
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Knowledge, chapter "On the Most Stubborn Disputant," hadith no. 2668, from the hadith of Waki. Bukhari narrated it in tafsir, chapter 11, "and he is the most stubborn in dispute," hadith no. 4523, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj, with the same wording. It is also in Al-Kubra, hadith nos. 5986 and 5987.
