Umar saw a silk garment with a man, so he brought it to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Buy this," and he continued with the rest of the hadith.

Bukhari related it in the Book of Manners, chapter "Whoever dresses well for delegations," hadith no. 6081, and Muslim in the Book of Clothing, chapter "The prohibition of men wearing silk and the like," hadith no. 9/2068, from the hadith of Abdul-Warith with the same chain, and it is also in Kubra, hadith no. 9573.
