The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the woman who attaches hair extensions and the woman who has them attached.
أخبرني محمد بن إسمعيل بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا أبو النضر قال حدثنا شعبة عن هشام بن عروة عن امرأته فاطمة
أن رسول الله ﷺ لعن الواصلة والمستوصلة

Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Clothing, chapter on attaching hair extensions, hadith no. 5936, and Muslim in the Book of Clothing, chapter on the same, hadith no. 115/2122, from the hadith of Shubah, with this wording, and it concerns the prohibition of the act of the woman who attaches false hair and the one who has it attached for her, the greater one, hadith no. 9374.
