The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the woman who joins hair and the one who has her hair joined, and the woman who tattoos and the one who has herself tattooed. Walid bin Ubayy Hisham transmitted it as mursal.
أخبرنا إسحق بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال حدثنا عبيد الله عن نافع
لعن رسول الله ﷺ الواصلة والمستوصلة والواشمة والموتشمة أرسله الوليد بن أبي هشام
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Clothing, Chapter on attaching hair, no. 5947, 5940, 5937, and Muslim narrated it, etc., no. 119/2124, from the hadith of Ubaydullah bin al-Libas, Chapter on the prohibition of the act of the woman who attaches false hair and the woman who has it attached for her, narrated by Umar. It is also found in al-Kubra, no. 9376.
