The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was addressing a group of the Ansar when they said, "Messenger of Allah, these are the sons of Thalaba bin Yarbu who killed so-and-so during the days of ignorance."The Prophet ﷺ called out in a raised voice, "Indeed, no soul commits a crime against another."
أخبرنا محمود بن غيلان قال حدثنا بشر بن السري قال حدثنا سفيان عن أشعث عن الأسود بن هلال
كان رسول الله ﷺ يخطب في أناس من الأنصار فقالوا يا رسول الله هؤلاء بنو ثعلبة بن يربوع قتلوا فلانا في الجاهلية فقال النبي ﷺ وهتف بصوته ألا لا تجني نفس على الأخرى
