I came to the Prophet ﷺ along with my father. He asked, "Who is this with you?"My father replied, "My son. I bear witness that he is mine."The Prophet ﷺ said, "He will not be held accountable for your crimes, nor will you be held accountable for his."
أخبرني هارون بن عبد الله قال حدثنا سفيان قال حدثني عبد الملك بن أبجر عن إياد بن لقيط
أتيت النبي ﷺ مع أبي فقال من هذا معك قال ابني أشهد به قال أما إنك لا تجني عليه ولا يجني عليك
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in "Grooming," chapter on dye, hadith 4208, from the hadith of Iyad, and it is also in Al-Kubra, hadith 7036. Sufyan here is Ibn Uyayna, and Sufyan Thawri corroborated him as reported by Abu Dawud.
