The Messenger of Allah ﷺ decreed that the blood-money for accidental killing be twenty bint makhad, twenty male ibn makhad, twenty bint laboon, twenty jadhaah, and twenty hiqqah.
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Blood Money, Chapter on What Has Been Said Regarding the Blood Money and How Many Camels It Amounts To, hadith no. 1386, from Ali bin Saeed, with this chain, and it is also in Kubra, hadith no. 7005. Its defect is the use of "an" formula by Hajjaj bin Artah, and it has been graded daif.
