Ibn Jurayj reported from Ata, from Safwan bin Yala, from Yala that he hired a worker who got into a fight with another man. The man bit his hand, and when he pulled his hand away, the man's front tooth came out. The matter was brought before the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Should he leave his hand for him to chew on like a stallion chews?"
أخبرنا عبد الجبار مرة أخرى عن سفيان عن عمرو عن عطاء عن صفوان بن يعلى
وابن جريج عن عطاء عن صفوان بن يعلى عن يعلى أنه استأجر أجيرا فقاتل رجلا فعض يده فانتزعت ثنيته فخاصمه إلى النبي ﷺ فقال أيدعها يقضمها كقضم الفحل
