A slave belonging to a poor family cut off the ear of a slave belonging to a wealthy family. They came to the Prophet ﷺ, but he did not award them anything.
[Its chain is daif]. Abu Dawud transmitted it in the Book of Blood Money, Chapter on the offense committed by a slave who belongs to poor people, hadith 4590, from the hadith of Muaz bin Hisham Dastawai, with the same chain, and it is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith 6953. Its defect is that Qatada narrated with an: an, as previously noted at hadith 34.
