I sold a young camel to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then I came to him to collect payment. He said, "Certainly. I will only repay you with a fine, noble camel."So he repaid me, and he repaid me handsomely. Then an Arabi came to him seeking repayment of a camel of a certain age that was owed to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give him a camel."So they gave him a camel that day, and it was better than the one owed to him.The man said, "This is better than mine."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of you is the one who is best in repaying."

[Sahih]. Reported by Ibn Majah, Trade Transactions, Chapter on advance payment for animals, no. 2286, from the hadith of Muawiya bin Salih through the same route. It is also in al-Kubra, no. 6312.
