Abdullah bin Abbas reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the aqiqah for Hasan and Husayn 
with two rams each.

Sourcing, sahih. Tabarani reported it in Al-Kabir 11/311, hadith 11838, from the hadith of Ahmad bin Hafs, with this chain, and it is also in Al-Kubra, hadith 4545. It has another route with Abu Dawud, hadith 2841, from Ikrima, with this chain, and its chain is sahih. Ibn Jarud also graded it sahih, hadith 912.
