The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "People of the Ansar, hold on to your property and do not give it as a lifetime grant, for whoever grants something as a lifetime gift, it belongs to the one to whom it was granted, both during his life and after his death."
أخبرني محمد بن إبراهيم بن صدران عن بشر بن المفضل قال حدثنا الحجاج الصواف عن أبي الزبير قال حدثنا
قال رسول الله ﷺ يا معشر الأنصار أمسكوا عليكم يعني أموالكم لا تعمروها فإنه من أعمر شيئا فإنه لمن أعمره حياته ومماته
