Regarding Allah's statement, "Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly" [Nisa 4:10], he said, "An orphan would be under a man's care, and the man would set aside the orphan's food, drink, and utensils separately. This became burdensome for the Muslims, so Allah revealed, "And if you mix your affairs with theirs, they are your brothers" [Baqarah 2:220], meaning brothers in religion. Thus He permitted them to mix their affairs together."

في قوله {إن الذين يأكلون أموال اليتامى ظلما} قال كان يكون في حجر الرجل اليتيم فيعزل له طعامه وشرابه وآنيته فشق ذلك على المسلمين فأنزل الله عز وجل {وإن تخالطوهم فإخوانكم} في الدين فأحل لهم خلطتهم
