Ghumaysa, or Rumaysa, came to the Prophet ﷺ complaining about her husband, claiming that he was not having relations with her. It was not long before her husband arrived and said, "Messenger of Allah, she is lying. I do indeed have relations with her, but she wants to return to her first husband."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "That cannot happen until you taste his sweetness."
أخبرنا علي بن حجر قال أنبأنا هشيم قال أنبأنا يحيى بن أبي إسحق عن سليمان بن يسار
أن الغميصاء أو الرميصاء أتت النبي ﷺ تشتكي زوجها أنه لا يصل إليها فلم يلبث أن جاء زوجها فقال يا رسول الله هي كاذبة وهو يصل إليها ولكنها تريد أن ترجع إلى زوجها الأول فقال رسول الله ﷺ ليس ذلك حتى تذوقي عسيلته
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Ahmad reported it, 1/214, from Hushaym with the same chain, and it contains "Ubaydullah bin Abbas," which is the correct reading, as is also found in Tuhfat Ashraf, no. 9748, and the manuscript copy of Sunan al-Kubra by Nasai, folio 72b. But the printed edition, no. 5606, has "Abdullah," which is a mistake.
