Aqeel bin Abu Talib married a woman from the tribe of Banu Jusham, and the people said to him, "May you live in harmony and have many sons."He replied, "Say instead what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'May Allah bless you and bestow His blessings upon you.'"

تزوج عقيل بن أبي طالب امرأة من بني جثم فقيل له بالرفاء والبنين قال قولوا كما قال رسول الله ﷺ بارك الله فيكم وبارك لكم
[Hasan] Ibn Majah reported it in Nikah, chapter titled "Congratulating on marriage," no. 1906, from the hadith of Ashath bin Abdul-Malik, on his own authority, and it is also found in al-Kubra, no. 5561. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Ahmad, and Abu Dawud, no. 2130, and others.
