The dowry, when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was among us, was ten ounces.
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن المبارك قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي قال حدثنا داود بن قيس عن موسى بن يسار
كان الصداق إذ كان فينا رسول الله ﷺ عشرة أواق
Its isnad is sahih. Ahmad reported it, 2/367, from the hadith of Dawud with this chain, and it is in Kubra, hadith 5510. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, hadith 1260, from the hadith of Ibn Mahdi, as did Hakim, 2/175, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
