The other wives of the Prophet ﷺ refused to allow anyone to enter upon them on the basis of that nursing. They said to Ayesha, "By Allah, we see this as nothing but a special concession that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted exclusively for Salim. No one shall enter upon us on the basis of this nursing, nor shall anyone see us."

أبى سائر أزواج النبي ﷺ أن يدخل عليهن بتلك الرضاعة وقلن لعائشة والله ما نرى هذه إلا رخصة رخصها رسول الله ﷺ خاصة لسالم فلا يدخل علينا أحد بهذه الرضاعة ولا يرانا
