Judama bint Wahb related to her that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I had nearly resolved to forbid intercourse with a nursing wife, until I recalled that the Persians and the Romans practice it" — and Ishaq said, "they practice it" — "and it does not harm their children."
أخبرنا عبيد الله وإسحق بن منصور عن عبد الرحمن عن مالك عن أبي الأسود عن عروة
أن جدامة بنت وهب حدثتها أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لقد هممت أن أنهى عن الغيلة حتى ذكرت أن فارس والروم يصنعه وقال إسحق يصنعونه فلا يضر أولادهم
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Marriage, chapter on the permissibility of ghaylah, which is having intercourse with a nursing mother, and the dislike of withdrawal (azl), hadith no. 1442, from the hadith of Malik, by this route. It is also in the Muwatta (narration of Yahya), 2/607–608, and in Kubra, hadith no. 5485.
