The Prophet ﷺ performed tawaf around the Kabah and saied between Safa and Marwa during the Farewell Pilgrimage while mounted on his camel, so that the people could see him, so that he would be elevated above them, and so that they could ask him questions, since the crowds had pressed in upon him.
أخبرني عمران بن يزيد قال أنبأنا شعيب قال أنبأنا ابن جريج قال أخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع
طاف النبي ﷺ في حجة الوداع على راحلته بالبيت وبين الصفا والمروة ليراه الناس وليشرف وليسألوه إن الناس غشوه
