I saw Ibn Umar walking between Safa and Marwa, and he said, "If I walk, I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ walk, and if I run, I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ run."
أخبرنا محمود بن غيلان قال حدثنا بشر بن السري قال حدثنا سفيان عن عطاء بن السائب
رأيت ابن عمر يمشي بين الصفا والمروة فقال إن أمشي فقد رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يمشي وإن أسعى فقد رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يسعى
[Hasan] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Rites, chapter on the matter of Safa and Marwa, no. 1904, from the hadith transmitted through Ataa, and it is also in Kubra, no. 3971. Tirmidhi said, no. 864, "hasan sahih," with supporting narrations.
