The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform tawaf around the Kabah on his mount, and when he reached the corner, he would point to it.
أخبرنا بشر بن هلال قال أنبأنا عبد الوارث عن خالد عن عكرمة
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يطوف بالبيت على راحلته فإذا انتهى إلى الركن أشار إليه
Bukhari narrated it in Hajj, chapter "One who points to the corner when he passes it," hadith no. 1612, from the hadith of Khalid Haddan through the same chain, and it is also in Kubra, hadith no. 3926.
