أخبرنا محمد بن منصور قال حدثنا سفيان قال حدثني ابن جريج عن عبد الله بن عبيد بن عمير عن ابن أبي عمار قال
عن الضبع فأمرني بأكلها قلت أصيد هي قال نعم قلت أسمعته من رسول الله ﷺ قال نعم
[Sahih] Reported by Tirmidhi, Hajj, chapter on what has been said about the hyena caught by one in Muharram, no. 851 and 1791, from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj by this route, and he said, hasan sahih. It also appears in his Kubra, no. 3819. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 2645, 2646, as did Ibn Hibban, no. 1068, 979, and Ibn Jarud, no. 438, 439, and Hakim, 1/452, who said it meets the criteria of the two Shaykhs.
