The Prophet ﷺ married Maymunah while he was in the state of ihram.
أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا داود وهو ابن عبد الرحمن العطار عن عمرو وهو ابن دينار قال سمعت أبا الشعثاء يحدث
تزوج النبي ﷺ ميمونة وهو محرم

Reported by Muslim, Book of Marriage, Chapter on the prohibition of a muhrim's marriage and the disapproval of his proposing marriage, no. 47/1410, from the hadith of Dawud Attar, and by Bukhari, Book of Marriage, Chapter on the marriage of a muhrim, no. 5114, from the hadith of Amr bin Dinar with the same wording. It is also found in Al-Kubra, no. 3820.His saying "he was a muhrim" means that he was within the sanctuary. And Allah knows best.
