I used to braid the garlands for the sacrificial animals of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He would garland his offering, then send it off, then remain behind without avoiding anything that a person in the state of ihram avoids.
أخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الضعيف قال حدثنا أبو معاوية قال حدثنا الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن الأسود
كنت أفتل القلائد لهدي رسول الله ﷺ فيقلد هديه ثم يبعث بها ثم يقيم لا يجتنب شيئا مما يجتنبه المحرم
Muslim narrated it, no. 1321/366, from the hadith of Abu Muawiya, and Bukhari, no. 1702 (see the previous hadith), from the hadith of Amash, with the same, and it is in Sunan al-Kubra, no. 3759.
