A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was at Jirana, wearing a long outer garment, with his beard and head dyed yellow. He said, "Messenger of Allah, I have entered the state of ihram for Umra, and I am as you see me."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Take off the garment, wash off the yellow dye, and whatever you would do during your Hajj, do it during your Umra."
أخبرني محمد بن إسمعيل بن إبراهيم قال حدثنا وهب بن جرير قال حدثنا أبي قال سمعت قيس بن سعد يحدث عن عطاء
أتى رسول الله ﷺ رجل وهو بالجعرانة وعليه جبة وهو مصفر لحيته ورأسه فقال يا رسول الله إني أحرمت بعمرة وأنا كما ترى فقال انزع عنك الجبة واغسل عنك الصفرة وما كنت صانعا في حجتك فاصنعه في عمرتك
