I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for his ihram before he entered into it, and for his exiting ihram when he came out of it.
أخبرنا حسين بن منصور بن جعفر النيسابوري قال أنبأنا عبد الله بن نمير قال حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم عن أبيه
طيبت رسول الله ﷺ لإحرامه قبل أن يحرم ولحله حين أحل
Bukhari narrated it in Kitab al-Libas, chapter on a woman perfuming her husband with her own hands, hadith no. 5922, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Numayr through this same chain, and it is also in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 3666.
