Abdullah bin Umar reported,

A man stood up in the mosque and asked, "Messenger of Allah, from where do you command us to enter the state of ihram?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "The people of Medina enter ihram from Dhul Hulayfah, the people of Sham from al-Juhfah, and the people of Najd from Qarn."Ibn Umar said, "And they claim that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said, 'The people of Yemen enter ihram from Yalamlam.'"Ibn Umar used to say, "I did not hear this last part directly from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

أخبرنا قتيبة قال حدثنا الليث بن سعد قال حدثنا نافع

عن عبد الله بن عمر

أن رجلا قام في المسجد فقال يا رسول الله من أين تأمرنا أن نهل قال رسول الله ﷺ يهل أهل المدينة من ذي الحليفة ويهل أهل الشام من الجحفة ويهل أهل نجد من قرن قال ابن عمر ويزعمون أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ويهل أهل اليمن من يلملم وكان ابن عمر يقول لم أفقه هذا من رسول الله ﷺ
