He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Medina enter ihram from Dhul Hulayfah, the people of Sham from al-Juhfah, and the people of Najd from Qarn."Abdullah said, "It has reached me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said, 'And the people of Yemen enter ihram from Yalamlam.'"

أخبره أن رسول الله ﷺ قال يهل أهل المدينة من ذي الحليفة وأهل الشام من الجحفة وأهل نجد من قرن قال عبد الله وبلغني أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ويهل أهل اليمن من يلملم
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter on the miqat of the people of Madinah, and that they should not enter the state of ihram before Zulhulayfa, hadith no. 1525, and Muslim in the Book of Hajj, chapter on the miqats for Hajj and Umrah, hadith no. 1182, both from the hadith of Malik through this same chain. It is also found in the Muwatta (Yahya's recension), 1/330, and in Kubra, hadith no. 3631.
