The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A believer to another believer is like a building, each part strengthening the other."He also said, "The trustworthy treasurer who gives what he has been ordered to give willingly and with a cheerful heart is one of the two who give in charity."
أخبرني عبد الله بن الهيثم بن عثمان قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي قال حدثنا سفيان عن بريد بن أبي بردة عن جده
قال رسول الله ﷺ المؤمن للمؤمن كالبنيان يشد بعضه بعضا وقال الخازن الأمين الذي يعطي ما أمر به طيبا بها نفسه أحد المتصدقين
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Hiring, Chapter on Hiring a Righteous Man, etc., hadith no. 2260, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Zakat, Chapter on the Reward of the Trustworthy Custodian, etc., hadith no. 1023, from the hadith of Buraid, with the same wording. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 2341.
