[Sahih] Recorded by Ahmad, 8/106,8, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri, from Thawr bin Yazid, with this wording. It is also found in Al-Kubra, hadith no. 2671. Khalid did not hear directly from Ayesha, but the hadith has very many corroborating narrations.
