The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I used to perform the major ritual bath from a single vessel after sexual impurity.
أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الأعلى قال حدثنا خالد قال حدثنا شعبة قال حدثني عبد الرحمن بن القاسم قال سمعت القاسم يحدث
كنت أغتسل أنا ورسول الله ﷺ من إناء واحد من الجنابة
Bukhari transmitted it in ghusl, chapter on whether a person in a state of janaba may put his hand into a vessel, etc, no. 263, from the hadith of Shubah, and Muslim in menstruation, chapter on the recommended amount of water for ghusl from janaba, no. 321(45), from the hadith of Qasim bin Muhammad through the same chain. It is also in Kubra, no. 237.
