The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I used to bathe from a single vessel, both of us scooping water from it together.
أخبرنا سويد بن نصر قال أنبأنا عبد الله عن هشام بن عروة ح وأنبأنا قتيبة عن مالك عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يغتسل وأنا من إناء واحد نغترف منه جميعا
Bukhari transmitted it in "Adherence to the Quran and Sunnah," the chapter on what the Prophet ﷺ mentioned and his urging agreement among the people of knowledge, etc., hadith no. 7339, from the hadith of Hisham with the same wording. It also appears in the Muwatta, narrated by Abu Musab, 1/59, hadith no. 147, and in Kubra, hadith no. 236, from the hadith of Qutayba only.
