The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Take the pre-dawn meal, for there is blessing in the suhoor."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, this hadith of Yahya bin Saeed has a good chain of transmission, but it is munkar, and I fear the error came from Muhammad bin Fudayl.
أخبرنا زكريا بن يحيى قال حدثنا أبو بكر بن خلاد قال حدثنا محمد بن فضيل قال حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ تسحروا فإن في السحور بركة قال أبو عبد الرحمن حديث يحيى بن سعيد هذا إسناده حسن وهو منكر وأخاف أن يكون الغلط من محمد بن فضيل
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] It is found in Kubra, hadith no. 2461, and Nasai's statement is the weaker view * Abu Bakr bin Khallad's name is Muhammad, and he is Bahili, Basri.
