Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three white Sahuli garments, with neither a shirt nor a turban among them.
أخبرنا قتيبة عن مالك عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ كفن في ثلاثة أثواب بيض سحولية ليس فيها قميص ولا عمامة
Bukhari narrated it in "Funerals," the chapter on shrouding without a turban, hadith no. 1273, from the hadith of Malik, and Muslim (see the following hadith) from the hadith of Hisham, with the same wording. It is also in Kubra, hadith no. 2025, and Muwatta (Yahya), 223/1.
