The Prophet ﷺ was shrouded in three white Sahuli garments.
أخبرنا إسحق قال أنبأنا عبد الرزاق قال حدثنا معمر عن الزهري عن عروة
كفن النبي ﷺ في ثلاثة أثواب سحولية بيض
[Sahih] Ahmad narrated it: 6/231, from Abdul-Razzaq, with this wording. It is also in Kubra, no. 2024, and Musannaf Abdul-Razzaq, no. 6171. Bukhari and Muslim narrated it from the hadith of Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, with this wording, see the following two hadiths. Makhul also narrated it, saying, Urwa narrated to us, with this wording (Ahmad: 6/264).
