The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the Witr prayer "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" [Ala 87:1] in the first rakah, "Say, O disbelievers" [Kafirun 109:1] in the second rakah, and "Say, He is Allah, the One" [Ikhlas 112:1] in the third. He would not give the salam except at the end of them, and after giving the salam he would say, "Glory be to the King, the Most Holy," three times.
أخبرنا يحيى بن موسى قال أنبأنا عبد العزيز بن خالد قال حدثنا سعيد بن أبي عروبة عن قتادة عن عزرة عن سعيد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبزى عن أبيه
كان رسول الله ﷺ يقرأ في الوتر بسبح اسم ربك الأعلى وفي الركعة الثانية بقل يا أيها الكافرون وفي الثالثة بقل هو الله أحد ولا يسلم إلا في آخرهن ويقول يعني بعد التسليم سبحان الملك القدوس ثلاثا
