Jabir bin Samura reported,

The Prophet ﷺ used to deliver the sermon standing, then sit, then stand again, reciting verses and remembering Allah . His sermon was moderate in length, and his prayer was moderate in length.

كان النبي ﷺ يخطب قائما ثم يجلس ثم يقوم ويقرأ آيات ويذكر الله عز وجل وكانت خطبته قصدا وصلاته قصدا
