The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever washes himself and performs the full bath, then sets out early in the morning and arrives early, draws near to the imam, and refrains from idle talk, will have for every step the reward of a year's worth of fasting and night prayer."
أخبرنا عمرو بن منصور وهارون بن محمد بن بكار بن بلال واللفظ له قالا حدثنا أبو مسهر قال حدثنا سعيد بن عبد العزيز عن يحيى بن الحارث عن أبي الأشعث الصنعاني
عن النبي ﷺ قال من غسل واغتسل وغدا وابتكر ودنا من الإمام ولم يلغ كان له بكل خطوة عمل سنة صيامها وقيامها
[Its chain is sahih] Tirmidhi transmitted it, in the Book of Prayer, chapter on the merit of ghusl on Friday, hadith 496, from the hadith of Yahya bin Harith with this chain, and he said, "Hasan." It is also found in Kubra, hadith 1685. Ibn Hibban and Hakim graded it sahih according to the conditions of the two sheikhs, and Dhahabi agreed with him. Baghawi graded it hasan. It has a defect that has been rejected, refer to Nayl al-Maqsud, hadith 345, 346, and see the following hadith (1399).
