The Prophet ﷺ said, "Attending the Friday prayer is obligatory upon every male who has reached puberty."
أخبرني محمود بن غيلان قال حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم قال حدثني المفضل بن فضالة عن عياش بن عباس عن بكير بن الأشج عن نافع عن ابن عمر
أن النبي ﷺ قال رواح الجمعة واجب على كل محتلم
[Sahih] Abu Dawud narrated it in Kitab al-Tahara, Bab fi al-ghusl lil-Jumua, no. 342, from the hadith of Mufaddal bin Fadala with this wording, and it is also in al-Kubra, no. 1660. Ibn Khuzayma and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih.
